These lesson ideas have been written to help develop an understanding of the lives of people in Uganda. They could be used for a whole school African themed day or by individual classes to enhance project work in various subject areas. Each ‘Ugandan Challenge’ provides a starting point for teachers to develop a lesson to encourage global awareness suited to the needs of their pupils.
