Medical Partner

In 2010 we took our first medical team to Uganda. As well as seeing our sponsored children we ran several free, open clinics for the community. The medical missions have become an annual part of our work and typically treat around a thousand patients in two weeks.

During the annual medical missions, we frequently come across patients who need ongoing care. Medical partners help to provide the costs of treatment, medication, tests and transport to the hospital for as long as support is needed. Even a small donation given monthly helps to provide the security of knowing that vital medicine will be provided regularly.

We have also established several disability support groups and we are encouraging these groups to meet regularly. To help facilitate the group we try to provide money for transport to get the families there, drinks, snacks and things to do – plus a small wage for the two ladies who run the group. Your support for this work will make a big difference.
