Great Hope School is the talk of the town in Nakaseke. The local population were getting desperate for a school for their children following the closure of two schools in the area. Having made do with makeshift classrooms at the back of the church building the staff and children of Great Hope school are delighted with their new school building. This first phase of the school has five classrooms which means that some classes still have to share a room until phase two is built – hopefully within the next year.
£8,000 have already been donated towards the next building and we hope to raise a further £12,000 to complete the project. Thank you to everyone who has helped in a huge variety of ways to make this school a reality. The children, parents and staff all wish to say a heartfelt thank you to you all.
