This project has been named ‘Stepping Stones’ and further developments are planned in collaboration with an architect’s firm in Leeds.

We aim to provide high quality, durable housing for families with little or no ability to afford or be able to build a home of their own. These families may be disadvantaged because of a variety of circumstances for example single parents, illness or disability of parent or dependent children or simply evicted by landlord/relations or their current home is uninhabitable.

We will provide support for as long as there is a need. For some families this will be for the lifetime of the parents or until the children are grown and sufficiently able to provide for themselves, and if necessary their dependent relatives. For other families this may just be a temporary situation until they are able to provide for themselves - hence the name Stepping Stones.
