Setting off from Walney Island, near Barrow in Furness in Cumbria, Rachel Stavert and Steve and Jean Bell and their son Andrew, spent 4 days cycling the 175 miles to Wearmouth in County Durham.
They stayed overnight in the Bells’ camper van.
This is clearly a very hilly part of the country and the official guide to the route describes it as ‘up hill and down dale for much of the way’. Thanks to the generosity of their supporters they raised £600 for the charity before Gift Aid.
What a great achievement and many thanks to the team for their efforts on behalf of CRMI Children of Hope.
